The Juneau County Jail consists of 157 beds located in 3 sections of the facility.There are 100 beds for general population, 52 beds for Huber inmates and 5 beds located in the inmate booking area. The Jail was built in 2002 and designed as a "Pod" system.This modern Pod design allows Jail Deputies to restrict and control the movement of prisoners throughout the facility, while minimizing the staff needed to monitor and control the population. This layout places Pod's or housing units around a centralized control center from which a single deputy can monitor all of the cells and each pod.The Control Deputy can control cells doors, lights, water, inmates communications and inmate movement.CCTV monitoring is conducted from the central control station as well
